  • ✈️Things I love about traveling with my kids (while I do prefer sometimes to enjoy a cocktail without worrying about a child drowning... the benefits outweigh my own desires 😝): * They experience first hand swimming with various animals, feeding endangered species, currency exchange, diverse languages. As they learn about these subjects during their schooling, they often connect what they’re learning to real-life experiences. Lain & Ro talked about how they told all their classmates how they swam with sharks, pigs, fed iguanas and know where to touch a sting ray all from this one trip, my heart skipped a beat!🙌🏼 * Most importantly they know that no matter the skin color, language, or location, they can make friends. And while still only 5 and 3, my kids continue to make friends all over the world. That’s the foundation of a global perspective that I want them to keep for the future. Lain played all day with one of the owners daughters of @chatnchill & had the best time! She makes friends wherever she goes and i love that about her 💕 * The greater number of experiences you introduce a child to (or an adult for that matter), the greater, and faster, their brain development. I feel like lain is smarter than me sometimes! * Unlike tangible toys and presents, travel is a gift that your kids will never outgrow, even if they aren’t old enough to realize it yet. I can’t wait till they look back at all our trip photos when they are older! #beccaingletravels

  • “You look like an influencer”- first thing an @appstate professor said to me today as I walked in to speak to the digital marketing class at lunch! 🙃 I may be an influencer, but I was happy to speak today about many other behind the scenes jobs that go on to these future grads. Like how I am also a mom, an entrepreneur, and loving my job @amazon where they can also contact me for software development jobs as soon as they graduate! A lot of things go behind the scenes of “influencing”, like (swipe left) pulling up knee high boots to get the perfect shots, working all day and night to make sure I’m juggling everything in a timely manner, and keeping all my relationships strong with friends, clients and customers through the process. It takes ALOT to make it look like I’m not doing anything 😂but it’s my passion!
