  • Hear me out... what if we... just never went back to work 🤪 ✌🏼JK. Travel blogging is work. My morning green tea is a little bit colder this morning, I’m officially back home to the grind 💰 but linking our convenient @airbnb in my stories if you want to book! ✈️We’ve always stayed at resorts or villas on grace bay beach, but this one was SO AFFORDABLE and spacious, plus in the prime spot of all the restaurants 🙌🏼 only thing I noticed is you can’t just order room service when you’re hungry 😉 plus if the power goes out (which it randomly did, you have to wait on the house manager to fix problems) but totally felt safe all weekend!   • Cali is mourning. @kobebryant family is mourning. Millions are mourning. Grown men cried all day yesterday. Mothers are mourning. Basketball players are mourning everywhere. My eyes are puffy this morning. I played high school basketball and he was one of my fav players. Every news article that ever comes out, once you are a mother, a wife, it hits home. It could easily be you. The quote that stuck out most I saw going around was “leaving your home and getting back safely is such an underrated blessing.” 💔We travel so much. Writing my Malibu blog post just didn’t seem important any more yesterday. Like everyone else I stayed up all night scrolling through Kobe’s page. Reading every single caption. What stuck out was how much love and memories he felt on every post. How much inspiration he shared. He didn’t have a funny caption, he didn’t have one liners, at the end of the day I want my kids to look back at my page and know what I was thinking that day. How much I loved them. In this moment @malibubeachinn the kids were using binoculars looking for animals out in the water and it was very peaceful. Lainey kept saying she was looking for walruses & Ro was fascinated too with the ocean. cherish everyday💕 #ripgigiandkobe #youaresoloved
